Skylar looks up from the menu to look at Jordan's face. He is smiling. She thinks back about what he said a few seconds before. "I recommend the Italian sausage here ..." She immediately looked back at the menu and then back at him. "Wait ... what are pineapples doing in Italian dishes?"

Jordan looks at her and says "well they have a dessert here that I love its a pineapple cream dessert and it is fantastic. Ive tried to figure out how to make it on my own, but it never comes out right."

Skylar looks up at Jordan. "That sounds good, but I'm more of an ice cream type of girl".

[Taki-Toss]

Jordan smirks at Skylar "well is your favorite flavor vanilla?"

Skylar tilts her and gives him a little look. "The most basic of ice cream flavors? Nahh, not me." She pats her chest firmly twice. "When I eat ice cream, I go balls-to-the-walls! I go for Rocky Road, Mint Chocolate Chip, Birthday Cake, Reese's, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Peanut Butter Banana, Smore's, and when I am feeling classy, Rainbow Sherbet." Skylar then sticks her tongue out at Jordan. She knew he couldn't keep up.

Jordan cant help but let out an actual laugh at her goofiness. it was quite surprising, but in a good way. "well my favorite kind of ice-cream is cookies and cream. its a classic yet it stills fantastic! also I prefer ice-cream in the cone I prefer to lick it rather than scoop it up. ice-cream is more fun in a cone"

Skylar smiled a little harder. "Well, maybe one day we'll go to that Ben & Jerry's a few miles away from here together. I hear they have the best cones by themselves. I've actually been aching to go, but I've just been sidetracked." As Skylar said this, the waitress came up to the table, introduced herself, and asked what we wanted to drink. Skylar looks up at her. She was a beautiful, young red head. Skylar smiled at her and said, "I'll have a Coke please."

[Taki-Toss]

Jordan smiles at Skylar's response "how about we go after school today?" the waitress arrives and asks for their drink orders. Jordan looks at and shows a small smile "ill have a fruit punch thanks." and then looks back at Skylar waiting for her response. he is a little bit nervous because she might say no. he isn't used to rejection and rejection is always scary.

Skylar watches Jordan order his drink. The waitress looks down at her notepad and swiftly takes down the orders. She stops writing and quickly looks up. "Are you guys ready to order?" Skylar looks away from the waitress and towards Jordan. "I know what I want. How about you, Jordan?" she said. Skylar wanted to get the waitress out of the way before she could answer his question.

Jordan turns to the waitress again and with a friendly smile he says "ill take the lasagna"

Skylar watches the waitress write in her pad again while turning towards her. "And you, dear?" Skylar's hands reach for the menu. "I'd like the Chicken Alfredo please" she says while she begins to close it up and hand it to the waitress. The waitress writes down in her pad, takes her menu along with Jordan's and then smiles. "Coming right up for 'ya" the waitress says before she walks away. Skylar watches the waitress walk away from the table and into the back. She then looks at Jordan and asks, "what were we talking about again?"

"well I was asking if you wanted to go to ben and jerry's after school today?" he looked at Sky with a smirk on his face but he was still slightly nervous. if she said no he would feel a little hurt but rejection happens even between blooming friends.

[Teetee12]

"I promised my dad I would drive with him to my grandmother's house to help with some repairs to the fence and some painting. How about tomorrow though? I'll be free then." Skylar shows a sweet smile to Jordan.

[Taki-Toss]

After hearing Skylar's reply Jordan grew happy. he would be able to have her on his bike again and they get to hang out tomorrow. "sure that sounds great. by the way would you like a ride home or is your dad picking you up after school?"

"My plan was just to walk, but I wouldn't mind the wind flowing through my hair once more". Skylar began to laugh. She then looked down at her watch. It was 12:14 PM. She looked back up at Jordan. "We've got about 45 minutes before lunch ends".

[Taki-Toss]

"ok well here comes our food we will eat and with my bike and over for speed we will be at school with time to spare" as Jordan said this he winked. Jordan received his lasagna and immediately dug in, he was so very hungry.

Skylar saw Jordan wink at her. It was cute. She had always wondered how the 'wink' because a universal symbol for an underlying meaning. But whatever the matter, Skylar was enjoying herself. The young man, her fellow classmate for the past 4 months, Jordan was sharp, kind, and attractive. She wasn't the type to fall for pretty boys, or fall for any boys for that matter! But Jordan was the first to ever be bold in asking her out and being confident about it. He had an honest smile and didn't seem to be a douchbag or jerk. He was genuine. Skylar thought about all of this as her food was being placed in front of her and while watching Jordan dig into his food. She then begun to smile and look down to pick up her fork.

[Taki-Toss]

as Jordan finishes his food he looks up to see Skylar almost done as well. "what's your favorite color?" he asks as he waits for her to finish eating

"Not sure" she said. "Probably purple. Why do you ask?" Skylar whips her mouth with her napkin. She was full and hoped the waitress would come back soon.

[Taki-Toss]

"just curious is all. I like to learn new things." just as Jordan was speaking the waitress arrived "are you guys all done?" Jordan looks at sky "Yes we are could we get the check" the waitress leaves with the plates and leaves the check. Jordan pays the bill and leaves a tip for the waitress and they leave hastily from the restaurant.

Skylar and Jordan walk out towards the motorcycle. "Thanks for taking me here. It was delicious!" She picks up the helmet and secures it. "He doesn't really think that I would let him pay for my meal does he?" she thought to herself while reaching into her back pocket and waiting for him to get on the Yamaha

Jordan mounts his bike and looked at Sky "lets go"

Skylar mounted the bike with Jordan. She then looked at her watch before he could start up the Yamaha. "We've got 12 minutes. We're right on time" she said as she smiled at the back of his helmet. She then reached into her pocket and took out $10 and clenched it tightly in her fist.

Jordan speeds down the streets and through intersections. As he drives he feels Skylar clutch his waist tighter and he just speeds up. Jordan pulls into the parking lot and parks his bike he lets skylar dismount the bike first then he gets off of the bike and puts his helmet away.he then faces skylar and waits for her to hand him the other helmet

On the ride back, Skylar takes the $10 she had clenched in her fist and un-noticeably slips it into his back pant pocket. "You didn't actually think you were going to pay for my lunch did you? she thought to herself. "Well think again."

After the two had arrived back at the school they both hopped off of the bike and Skylar takes off her helmet and hands it to Jordan. "Hey, thanks for taking me out to lunch. I had a really good time and me having a really good time with someone I just met, is rare." She smiles at him as she says this.
